Mary Ann Smith, a devoted wife, cherished mother, beloved grandmother, and treasured friend, was called home to be with the Lord at the age of 68 on May 18th, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. Her life was a shining example of unconditional love, generosity, and deep faith.
She lived with a heart wide open, always looking for ways to help others and make them feel cared for. Her husband, children and grandchildren were the light of her life; her greatest joy was simply being with them. Every adventure was made better by the presence of her family, whether it was at home, the Smokey Mountains, on the beach, or visiting someplace new.
Mary owned and operated her own business for most of her life. Her entrepreneurial spirit was driven by one thing; her desire to be present for her grandchildren, whom she raised. She never missed a school pickup or a family milestone, always putting the ones she loved first. She made every holiday and family gathering truly special.
Mary was a woman of remarkable strength and determination.
She was deeply rooted in her faith and
cherished her church family, always finding peace and purpose in worship.
Mary leaves behind a legacy of unconditional love, kindness, service and selflessness. She will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her, but her spirit will live on in the lives she touched.
Mary is survived by her husband, Clarence, her daughters Stephanie and Sandra, grandchildren Vanessa and Brandon, great grandchildren, and sister Pat Randall. She is preceded by her parents Pete and Noreene Bryant, her sister Carol Schaeffer and brother Jimmy Bryant.
