Mary E Lyons

Mary E. Lyons, age 99, passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 in Avon Park, FL 33825. She was born in Grovenia, GA to the late John and Claranda (Colson) Perry. She had been a resident of Avon Park for 92 years having come from Grovenia, GA. Mary worked as a Beautician and was a member of Beulah Baptist Church. She liked to sew, read, cook, travel, study her bible, and visiting with her family whom she loved dearly. Mary is survived by her children; Frank Lyons, Jr. (Patricia) of Sebring, FL, John Lyons of Miami, FL, and Clara Lyons Randolph of Avon Park, FL, two grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Lyons, Sr. and her son, Chester Lyons. A visitation will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at Beulah Baptist Church located at 1017 South Delaney Ave, Avon Park, FL. A Funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. Burial will be at Lakeview Memorial Gardens.
