Mary Ann Luttrell

Mary Ann Luttrell, age 84, passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2015 in Avon Park, FL. She was born on August 30, 1930 in Person County, North Carolina to the late Talmadge and Beatrice Gentry. Mary Ann is formerly of Laurinburg, NC. She and her husband Bob later moved to Pinehurst, NC where they founded Pinehurst Patios. After retiring from Pinehurst Patios, she and Bob moved to Avon Park, FL to play golf and enjoy the great sunshine. She and Bob are members of Bethany Baptist Church in Avon Park, FL. She is survived by her husband Robert "Bob" Luttrell, Avon Park, FL; daughters Diane Smithies, Wilmington, NC; Beth (Roger) Ammons, Wagram, NC; Mary Langley, Henderson, NC; Cindy (Dwight) Ellison, Badin Lake, NC; son Robert Craig Luttrell, Lillington, NC; eight grandchildren Adam Maples, Silas Smithies, Helen Quesenberry, Aaron Scott, Alex Nance, Ashlie Martin, Whitney Ellison and Leslie Brown; seven great grandchildren; sisters Rose Alice Robinson, Greensboro, NC; Joyce Gibson, Laurinburg, NC and brother Billy Gentry, Vass, NC. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at Bethany Baptist Church in Avon Park, FL. There will also be a memorial service in Maxton, NC at the First United Methodist Church at a later date.
