MARY LOU KROEGER Mary Lou Kroeger, 83, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Saturday, February 11, 2012, in Sebring. She was born October 18, 1928, to George and Mary (Siglin) Murray in Lawler, Iowa, and lived with her husband, Bob Kroeger and their five children for 17 years in Oelwein, Iowa before moving to Boca Raton, Florida in 1968. Mary Lou and Bob have been residents of Sebring since 1978. Mary Lou was an avid reader, enjoyed music, playing cards, cooking and spending time with her family and friends. She worked as a real estate agent in Florida for over 30 years and volunteered for Florida Hospital, as well as many other non-profit community organizations. She was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Avon Park, Florida and Sun N Lake Golf Club in Sebring. Mary Lou is survived by her husband of 61 years, Bob Kroeger of Sebring; children, Mark (Beth) Kroeger, Jupiter, FL; Karen Kroeger, Sebastian, FL; Robert (Mary Jo) Kroeger, Sebring; Julie Morra, Coconut Creek, FL and John Kroeger, Indialantic, FL; grandchildren, Chad, Ryan, Adrienne and Dennis and three great-grandchildren. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 16, 2012, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Avon Park, with Father Nicholas McLoughlin officiating.
