Mary Elizabeth Gibson

MARY ELIZABETH GIBSON Mary Elizabeth Gibson, age 88, passed peacefully into the presence of her Lord and Savior on Sunday, April 7, 2013 in Sebring, FL. She was born in Center, CO on May 17, 1924 to Charles and Bessie (Kelsey) Gibson. She joined Sudan Interior Mission in 1951 and faithfully served the Lord for 37 years as a teacher in Ethiopia. God has blessed Mary Beth with a full and fruitful career, shaping the lives of young people, and seeing many of them come to know the Lord as Savior. She is survived by her brother, John Homer Gibson of Paso Robles, CA. she was preceded in death by three brothers, Charles Palmer Gibson, Jr., Glen Kelsey Gibson, and Donald Dewose Gibson. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at 10:00 AM in the SIM Chapel in Sebring, FL with pastor Tom Schneider, from Covenant Presbyterian Church, officiating.
