Mary Foley

Mary Foley, age 89, passed away on Valentines Day to join the love of her life, husband of 58 years, Richard T. Foley in heaven. Mary was born in Lowell, Massachusetts but has lived in Sebring, Florida both as a winter visitor since 1992 and a permanent resident since 2006. She worked until the age of 70 in the printing and insurance industries retiring to Sebring for winter months and spending summers in Atkinson, New Hampshire on Big Island Pond. Following retirement Mary enjoyed volunteering in daughter Janet King's Art studio in Sebring till the age of 85. Mary is survived by three daughters: Joanne (Rob) DiLella, Janet (Robert) King, Judy (Claire) Foley, eight grandchildren: Susan DiLella, Katharine DiLella, Sarah (Aaron) Whitaker, Jason (Morgan) King, Andrew King, Barrett King, Ali (Matt) Griffin, Christopher (Taylor) Benson, six great-grandchildren, brother: Everett Smith, sisters-in-law: Joan Bowers, Sheila McLoughlin, brother-in-law: Paul (Gail)Foley and many beloved nieces and nephews. A celebration of Mary's life will be held Friday, February 24th at First United Methodist Church of Sebring at 5:00 PM with visitation one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Soup Up The Arts, c/o Sebring High School Art Department, 3514 Kenilworth Blvd, Sebring, FL 33870 which helps needy families in the community.
