MARY ELLA CLARK January 28, 1928 - August 10, 2013 Passed away peacefully in her home in Sebring at 10:09 p.m., Saturday, August 10, 2013, under the care of the angels who work for Compassionate Care Hospice. Mary was born in Charleston, West Virginia to Donald E. and Mary Pearl Curtis. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Sam W. Clark; step-daughter, Pricilla; her three brothers, Donald E., Jr., Charles M. (Bruz) and Robert; her sister, Patricia (Tish) Huffman and two grandchildren, Elizabeth Boggess and Jordan Clark. She is survived by her sister, Betty Reip; daughters, Barbara A. Primrose (Randolph); Sandra M. Rogers (Michael) and Mary Charlene Loveless (Thomas); step-sons, Steven S. Clark and Curtis C. Clark; sixteen grandchildren; thirty-four great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews and close and dear friends. Elegant, kind and generous Mary never met a stranger and treated everyone as if she had known them and loved them forever. Everyone will miss Mary's sense of humor, laughter, honesty, love of work and her golf game! Always energetic, her friends called her the "Energizer Bunny" and her grandchildren bought her the "Go Granny Go" license plate, which is her trademark. She was very active in the community. A Realtor for forty-six years, Mary just retired from Country Club Realty in January and had served many times on the Highlands Association Board of Realtors. She was a member of Emmanuel United Church of Christ and Golf Hammock Owner's Association. The family will receive friends with a Memorial Service at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home, 4001 Sebring Parkway, Sebring, FL 33870 on Tuesday, August 13, 2013, at 2:00 p.m., Chaplain Steve Kearney officiating.
