Mary Evelyn Cazarin

Mary Evelyn Cazarin, age 81, passed away on Wednesday, August 6, 2026, in Sebring, Florida. She was born on August 7, 1944, in Bennettsville, South Carolina, to Jessie and Leola (Owens) Hodge. Mary was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who found her greatest joy in caring for her family. She loved to cook, treasured the time she spent with her grandchildren, and took great pride tending to her beautiful flower garden. Her kind heart, loving spirit, and dedication to those she loved will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her loving children, Danny Elder, Leland Elder, and Christian Elder, all of Avon Park; her daughter Vicky Wright of Texas; her brother, Alfred Hodge of Avon Park; eight grandchildren; and twenty-two great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home in Avon Park.
