MARY B. BRENNER Mary B. Brenner, 84, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Saturday, September 10, 2011, at her home with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick W. Brenner, Jr. and son, Frederick Brenner III. Mrs. Brenner was born in New Haven, Connecticut on May 29, 1927, daughter of the late Samuel Bimonte and Genevieve Landino, and was a resident of Hamden, Connecticut for 50 years. She was a member of the Connecticut Experimental Theater and studied with Maestro Francesco Riggio as a singer and entertainer for many stage productions and charitable organizations in Connecticut. She retired from the stage in 1981 and was a voice teacher in Sebring. She was also an active member of the Womans Club of Sebring, Inc. She leaves behind her daughter, Kathy Farrell and husband Ralph of Wallingford, CT; daughter-in-law, Martha Brenner of Venice, FL; sister, Ann Dougan of Sarasota, FL; brothers, Samuel Bimonte of Florida and Ronald Bimonte of CT; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Visitation with family and friends will be held from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 13, 2011, at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home, Sebring. Mass will be held by Father Peter Sheehan at St. Catherine Catholic Church, Sebring, at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 14, 2011, with entombment at Lakeview Memorial Gardens, Avon Park, FL immediately after. Memorial donations may be made in her memory to Good Shepherd Hospice, 1110 Hammock Rd., Sebring, FL 33870.
