Mary Lou Barrett

Mary Lou Barrett passed away on Monday, September 25, 2023 in Sebring, Florida at the age of 84. The daughter of Kennard and Adele (Jones) Champness. She was born on April 16, 1939 in Baltimore, Maryland. She worked as an administrative assistant in the transportation industry, was of Catholic faith and has been a resident of Sebring, Florida since 2018 having come from Lehigh Acres, Florida. Mary was a fantastic mother, very selfless and a truly giving person. She was an excellent cook, enjoyed socializing with her old friends. She enjoyed playing on her phone, swim class, word puzzles, Tik Tok and loved the Miami Dolphins. She is survived by her children – Patrick David Barrett and Anne Adele Barrett, both of Sebring, Florida; brother-Joseph Champness of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Also surviving are 3 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. A visitation will be held from 12:00 – 1:00 PM on Saturday, September 30, 2023 until service time at 1:00 PM at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home with Father Jose officiating.
