Mary E. Barfield

Mary E. Barfield, age 92, passed away on February 25, 2020. She was born on November 8, 1927 in Andalusia, Alabama to Ernest and Lilly Digmon Drew. Mary had been a Highlands County resident since 1985 coming from Dunnellon, Florida. She was of the Christian faith. She had a green thumb and liked to crochet. She also volunteered for Meals on Wheels. She is survived by her children, Joseph Barfield of Florida, John (Wendy) Barfield of Florida and Linda (Fred) Luoto of Michigan, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her son Tim, and her sister Louise McDowell.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 28, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Lakeview Memorial Gardens, Avon Park, Florida.
