Marvella Jane Tachenko

Marvella Jane Tachenko, age 88 passed away on March 31, 2017 in Sebring, Florida. She was born on September 24, 1928 to her parents, Archie J. McDanel and Rita F. Brown in Algona, Iowa. Marvella had been a resident of the Sebring area since 1980 coming from Denver, Colorado. She was the former Director of Volunteer's at Walker Memorial Hospital for eight years. Marvella is survived by her husband Michael, her children, Alan Harmon (Jackie) and Jayne Miller (Robert) all of Avon Park, Florida. She is also survived by her brother Robert McDanel of Marshtown, Iowa. A memorial service will be held in her honor on April 23, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the Avon Park Seventh Day Adventist Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Walker Memorial Academy.
