Martin Rivera

Martin Rivera, age 61, of Avon Park, Florida, went to be with his Lord on Friday, March 27, 2026. Martin was born in Miami, Florida, to his beloved parents Juan and Theodora Rivera (Andaverda).

He was a hard worker and known for his tough love. He worked in the citrus industry, tending to citrus groves. He was passionate about cars and trucks and skilled in mechanics. His family will remember him as honest, tough, and driven.

He is preceded in passing by his parents, brothers; Juan Rivera, George Rivera, sister; Ofelia Rivera, and nephew; Richard Rivera.

He is survived by his wife; Flora Rivera, brothers; Robert Rivera (Gilda), Frank Rivera, Pablo Rivera, Rey Rivera, Alfonso Rivera, sisters; Maria Escobedo, Carmen Rivera, step-children: Sylvia Miranda, Mario Miranda, Dolores Breedlove, Nicandro Garcia, and Nicolas Garcia, and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

A memorial service for Martin will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Union Congregational Church in Avon Park, Florida.

Martin will be fondly remembered and dearly missed.
