Martha Jean Williams

Martha Jean Williams, age 84, of Avon Park, Florida, passed away Friday, July 17, 2026. She was born March 31, 1942 in Sebring, Florida to James Ellis and Nellie Marie (Anderson) Elder. Martha was a Homemaker, member of Avon Park Lakes Baptist Church, longtime member of the Avon Park Founders Garden Club, and has been a lifelong resident of Avon Park, Florida. She is survived by her Husband of 66 years – Wendell “Winkie” Williams; Children – Pam Kruse (John); Jeff Williams (Becky); Amy Guerndt (Charles); Sister – Bobbie Sue Williams (Phil); 7 Grandchildren – Jillian; Kyle (Katie); Alexis (Mason); Josh; Mitchell (Casey); Roxanne; Olivia (Hunter); 7 Great Grandchildren – Kasen; Kade; Rollins; Margaret; Annie; Carter; Isla; 2 Nieces – Liesl and Jewelee Ann. She is preceded in death by her Parents and 2 Nephews – Derick and Bo. Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 2, 2026 at 2:00 PM with family receiving friends beginning at 1:30 PM at Avon Park Lakes Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Corinth Cemetery, Bereah, Florida.
