Martha L. Spung, a devoted homemaker fondly remembered for her warmth and grace, passed away on April 12, 2026, in Sebring, Florida. Born on December 28, 1929, in McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania, Martha lived a full and cherished life marked by her dedication to family and her many interests.

Throughout her years, Martha found joy in playing bridge, golfing, and singing, activities that brought her both pleasure and connection with those around her. These hobbies reflected her lively spirit and her love of community and companionship.

Martha’s life was also defined by her steadfast role as a loving wife and mother. She was preceded in death by her first husband of 48 years, Stephen John Borowitz, her husband Dale Loring Spung, and her parents, Robert and Anna Priddy. Their memories remain an indelible part of her story.

She is survived by her children: sons Stephen Borowitz and Robert Borowitz, and daughter Mary Ann Borowitz. Her legacy continues through her two grandchildren, Alden Craft and Aaron Borowitz, as well as three great-grandchildren who carry forward the warmth and kindness Martha so freely gave.

A memorial service to honor Martha’s life will take place on April 24, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, located at 595 E. Main Street, Avon Park, Florida 33825. The service will provide an opportunity for family, friends, and community members to gather and pay their respects.

Martha L. Spung’s enduring spirit and devotion to her family remain a testament to a life well-lived. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, leaving behind a legacy of love, dedication, and cherished memories.
