Martha Virginia Miller, age 88 went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on April 9, 2018. Virginia was born in Arkansas on July 29, 1929 to Denver and Lanie Hughes. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sherrod Edwin Miller, daughter and son-in-law Edna and James Reynolds, two sisters Clara Mae McKown of Louisiana and Mabel Polk of Louisiana and one brother Olan C. Hughes of Louisiana. Virginia is survived by a daughter Martha A. Miller of Sebring, FL and son Edwin Miller of Alabama, four granddaughters, 2 grandsons, 4 great-granddaughters, and 3 great-grandsons. She is also survived by two sisters Mary Lee Ellis and Lorene Parmelee both of Texas and one brother Leon Hughes of Louisiana. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at First Baptist Church Avon Park. Visitation will begin at 10:00am with a service and burial to follow at 11:00 .
