Martha Anne Breau

SEBRING, FL / HOLDEN - Martha A. (Baldwin) Breau, 76, wife of Edward F. Breau died surrounded by family at the Moffitt Cancer Center Tampa on March 22, 2023. She was born Sept. 7, 1946 in Damariscotta, daughter of Earl H. Baldwin, Jr., and Barbara (Hall) Baldwin.

Martha grew up in Orrington, and graduated from Brewer High School in 1964. She worked many jobs, but later chose to pursue several entrepreneurial ventures. Her pride and joy was establishing "SPECIALTY KNITS" and making hats, sweaters and Christmas stockings for nearly 4 decades. Martha also enjoyed quilting, sewing, and running the Tanglewood RV Club. She was dedicated to all her family.

In addition to her husband of 58 years, Martha is survived by her 4 children: Teresa Holyoke and husband Glen Holyoke, Brewer; David Breau and wife Amy Breau, Freeport; Linda Goodness and husband Jon Goodness, Carmel; Denise Tracy and husband Kevin Tracy, Waynesville, Ohio; 10 beloved grandchildren: Ashleigh, Paul, Kyle, Kate, Matt, Jenny, Tyler, David, Jenna, Naomi; 5 great grandchildren; 2 siblings: Ralph Baldwin and wife Carole Baldwin, Skowhegan; Ellen Campbell, Holden; several brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and dear friend Kay Dunkin.

A Celebration of Life service will be held in Maine, June 24th at 1:00pm at the Orrington Center Church, 468 Dow Road, Orrington, Maine.
