Marta Eliana Butendieck

Marta Eliana Butendieck, age 89 passed away Tuesday, April 6, 2010 in Sebring, Florida. She was born in Santiago, Chile to Melquisedec and Oriana (Riveros) Maquieira. She was a Teacher, member of the Avon Park Seventh Day Adventist Church, she enjoyed gardening, reading and reciting poetry, and she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and had been a resident of Avon Park since 1989 coming from Bridgeport, Connecticut. She is survived by her daughters-Oriana Frost (Trenton) of Avon Park, Florida and Edelweiss Howard of Argentina; son-Ronald Butendieck (Neia) of Avon Park, Florida; sisters-Oriana Davidovich (Alexander) of South Lancaster, Massachusetts and Hilda Steger (Rodolfo) of Phoenix, Arizona; 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Rolf Butendieck, a daughter, Waltrant Butendieck and a grandson, Daven Frost. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 10, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Boling officiating.
