Marlowe E. Strouss

MARLOWE E. STROUSS Marlowe E. Strouss, 86, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2012, in Sebring. He was born July 13, 1925, to Amia G. and Iona P. (Ewer) Strouss in South Bend, Indiana, and had been a resident of Sebring since 1987, coming from Forest Park, Ohio. He was a Millwright in the transmission manufacturing industry and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a member of the Church of Christ of Ft. Meade, FL and he enjoyed playing golf. He is survived by his sons, Michael Strouss of Cincinnati, OH and Kevin Strouss of Goshen, OH; daughters, Patricia Middendorf, Batavia, OH and Joyce Drake, Amelia, OH; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Graveside services, with Military Honors, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 16, 2012, at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.
