Mark S. Purvis, age 49, passed away on April 1, 2024, in Sebring, Florida. He was the loving son of Christopher Miller, Sr., and Julia (Pat) Miller.
Mark was a dedicated family man, survived by his beloved wife, Kelly, and their children, Cali Purvis, Maci Purvis, and Jett Purvis. He also leaves behind his sister, Summer Miller, and brothers, Joshua Miller, Christopher Miller, Jr., and Jackson Purvis.
A lifelong resident of Sebring, Mark was a man of faith who loved Jesus. He was known for his love of the outdoors, especially camping and riding his motorcycle, his outrageous outfits, specifically orange and pink, and his culinary adventures in the kitchen. He had a knack for fixing things and could often be found tinkering with various projects.
Mark did not live an average life. He traveled where he wanted to, laughed inappropriately at every chance, babbled the most entertaining stories, and loved everyone he came in contact with.
Today, Mark is happy and dancing in heaven. He was clearly a man who loved to make people laugh and smile, even when he is no longer with us. All whom loved him dearly will never forget his wit, charm, goofiness, and undying love and caring for them.
In lieu flowers, Mark would hope that you will do an unexpected and unsolicited act of kindness for someone in need in his name.
A celebration of Mark’s beautiful life will be held at 4 pm on Thursday, April 11th, at Neighborhood Church Sebring located at 3599 Thunderbird Road.
We love you forever and ever, Mark.
