MARJORIE GANOE TODD Marjorie Ganoe Todd age 98, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, November 20, 2013, in Sebring, FL. She was born in Oak Park, MN to Alfred and Edith Lund. Marge was a Missionary with SIM (Sudan Interior Mission) from 1945 until her retirement in 1972. Her service for the Lord was in West Africa, working in women's and children's ministries, evangelism and secretarial work. Marge is survived by a son, Ralph (Norma) Todd of Longview, TX; daughters, Edith (John) Hoving of San Jose, CA, and Margaret (Richard) Ackley of Charlotte, NC: sisters, May Irene Hovda of Traverse City, MI and Marion Ganoe of Nipomo, CA; nine grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ralph Ganoe and her second husband, William Todd and a son, Neil Todd. A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 25, 2013, at the SIM Retirement Village Chapel in Sebring, FL with the Rev. Richard Ackley officiating. A short graveside service and interment will follow at Pinecrest Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Marjorie Todd to SIM, P.O. Box 7900, Charlotte, NC 28241.
