Marjorie ("Peggy") Rose Mangle, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on July 8, 2024, in Avon Park, Florida. She was born on January 25, 1931, in Jersey City, NJ. She grew up in Avenel, New Jersey and graduated from Woodbridge High School.

Marjorie is survived by her devoted husband of 44 years, Ronald Mangle; her loving children, Linda Vanags (Uldis "Sam") of Dixmont, ME, Ellen Widera of Lagrangeville, NY, and Lisa Thorud (Steve) of Longville, MN; her cherished grandchildren Apryl, Stefanie, Christopher and Stacey; and two adored great-grandchildren Nora and Quinn.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Phillip and Thomas.

Marjorie enjoyed a fulfilling career as Vice President of Sales for the Interim Employment and Staffing Agency, where her intelligence, talent and dedication shone brightly. Upon retiring from Interim she found she wasn't quite ready for full retirement and went on to purchase and run her own Cruise franchise for several years. She enjoyed participating in the Red Hat Society and her community African Violet Club. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, mystery games, reading and dancing. She was a fan of old movies. Known for her great sense of humor, Marjorie brought laughter and joy to all who knew her. Her Miniature Schnauzers were dear to her, reflecting her caring and loving nature. She delighted in watching all the wildlife in her area, particularly the birds. She loved birds.

Marjorie's life was a testament to her love for her family and friends. She had a passion for cooking and enjoyed entertaining friends in her lovely home, or getting together with them at a favorite local restaurant. She took great joy in family gatherings and holiday celebrations. An adventurous spirit, she loved to travel and especially enjoyed cruises with her husband as well as other family members.  She loved the ocean and being by the shore. One place that was particularly near and dear to her heart is Long Beach Island, an 18 mile-long barrier island off the coast of New Jersey. Many happy times have been spent there over years with her family.

She leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter, and she will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her.
