Marjorie Young Haynes

Marjorie Young Haynes Marjorie Young Haynes, age 90, of Sebring, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 9, 2014. She was born February 16, 1924, in Scranton, PA, to Daniel George and Helen Garwood Young. She moved to Sebring with her parents as a young girl to be near her paternal grandparents. She graduated from Sebring High Class of 1942. She worked at Hendricks Field Army Base in Sebring during World War II. After the war, she met and married Bill Haynes on October 22, 1946 and celebrated 56 years together. She worked at Production Credit Association in Sebring for twenty years as a loan officer until retiring at age 62. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Sebring. She enjoyed fishing and cooking for her family. She was preceded in death by her husband Bill, her parents Daniel and Helen Young, brothers: Dan Young, Bill Young and sister: Pearl Young. She is survived by her loving family, daughter: Linda Crisp (Ron) of Ormond Beach, FL; son: Kenneth Haynes (Joyce) of Sebring, FL; four grandchildren: Angie Stocker (Eric) of Cincinnati, OH, Ryan Haynes (Kristin) of Sebring, FL, Jeanna Heston (Charles) of Dallas, TX, and Kelly Haynes of Tampa, FL; five great-grandchildren: Bree, Cameron, Zander, Landon, Payton, and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held Monday, April 14, 2014, 11:00am at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home in Sebring with W. Mike Adams officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00am.
