Marilyn A. Bernardo

Marilyn A. Bernardo, age 87, passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2017 in Lake Placid, Florida. She was born on December 11, 1929, in London, Ontario, Canada, to the late Herbert H. and Jean (Easton) Farmer. Marilyn moved to Sebring in 1980 and was a member of the Heartland Christian Church and a former member of the Highlands Art League. She won numerous awards for her beautiful watercolor paintings and worked at various newspapers over the years in advertising. Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Marshall J. Bernardo of Sebring; two sons: Bryan Bernardo (Elena) of Phoenix, AZ; Brett Bernardo (Sandi) of Sebring; sister, Yvonne Reichardt of Peterborough, Ontario, and four grandchildren, Adam, Alec, Colin, and Abby. Marilyn was preceded in death by her sister Shirley of London, Ontario. There will be a Celebration of Life for Marilyn on Thursday, March 16th at 2:30 at the Heartland Christian Church in Sebring.
