Marie Ritchie

Marie E. Ritchie, 60, of Avon Park, went home to be with her Lord on June 13, 2023. She was born on February 25, 1963, to James Silva Sr and Marie Tidlund in Northampton, Massachusetts. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who would often put others before herself. While working as a manager of a local mobile home community, she took it upon herself to see that the children and the families were looked after. Without hesitation, she acted upon her willingness and desire to provide shoes, clothing, food, and other items for the children when she saw the need. She was often described as being funny and quick-witted with a great sense of humor, she didn’t hesitate to use it on anyone. She was wonderful and full of surprises. She is survived by hers Daughter, Carrie Islas, Kelly Ritchie, and Jenifer Ritchie, 14 grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, family and friends. She touched the lives of many and will be dearly missed. A memorial service for Marie will be held on June 23, 2023, at 7 P.M. at Fellowship Baptist church in Avon Park, Florida.
