Marianne T Tschida

Marianne T. Tschida, died December 28, 2012 in Sebring, Florida. Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. Marianne was born February 17, 1923 in South Bend, Indiana. She was raised and schooled in Niles, Michigan. Her father Francis Martin and mother Barbara, brother Andy, and sister Madalon all preceded her to Heaven. Marianne married William (Bill) Tschida on December 28, 1944, she was a homemaker, a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, she enjoyed playing golf and spending time with her family, she had been a resident of Avon Park since 1990 coming from South Bend, Indiana. She is survived by her husband William (Bill) Tschida of Avon Park, Florida; son- William J. Tschida (his wife- Kathryn) of Fort Collins, Colorado; grandchildren-Sarah Douglass (Jonathon) of Bridgman, Michigan, Martin Tschida (Meghan) of Westminster, Colorado and Thomas Tschida of Granger, Indiana; 2 great grandchildren-Clark and Abigail. No one had a greater love of family than Marianne. It meant so much for her to answer the phone and hear, "How are you Gramma?, or receive a card that she would hold and pat and read over and over. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 3, 2013 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home in Avon Park. Funeral Mass will be held Friday, January 4, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church with Father officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Niles, Michigan with services held at Halbritter Funeral Home.
