Marian Elaine Gaskin

ELAINE GASKIN Elaine Gaskin, 84, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Thursday, January 13, 2011, in Sebring. She was born May 17, 1926, to Charles H. and Helen (Hill) Robel, in Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania and had been a resident of Sebring since 1968, coming from Key West, FL. She was a homemaker, of the Baptist faith and enjoyed working with crafts, needlework, painting and sculpting. She was a former member of the Sebring Art League and also enjoyed gardening and bike riding. Mrs. Gaskin is survived by her husband of 47 years, Richard Gaskin of Sebring and daughter, Melodye Elayne Gaskin, Ph.D., of Gainesville, Florida. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 18, 2011, at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home in Sebring, with interment at Bougainvillea Cemetery, Avon Park, FL, immediately following. The family will receive friends at Stephenson-Nelson the hour preceding the service, beginning at 1:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Southside Baptist Church, 379 S.
