MARIAN LOUISE BARR Marian Louise Barr, age 83, of Sebring, Fl, passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2011 in Sebring. She was born March 26, 1928, in Chaumont, New York to Richard W. and Florence E. (Cottrell) Staie. She was a homemaker, a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Avon Park, FL and a member of Sebring Hills Hobby Club. She enjoyed traveling, volunteering and spending time with family and friends. She was a resident of the Watertown, NY area until moving to Port Charlotte, FL in 1977 and then to Sebring in 1986. She is survived by her daughter, Debra Siver, Sebring, FL; son, Allen Barr, Tampa, FL; brother, Bernard Staie, Liverpool, NY; sisters Bernice Gardner, Calcium, NY and Shirley (Lester) Bush, Lyons Falls, NY; three grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Philip N.G. Barr and daughter, Mary Anne Barr. Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 from 10:30 until 11:30 AM at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home in Sebring with services following at 12:00 Noon at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Avon Park. Interment will be in Sanford Corners Cemetery in Calcium, N.Y. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to Good Shepherd Hospice or to St. Judes Childrens Hospital.
