MARIA C. PRYNE-DAVIS Maria C. Pryne-Davis, 85, of Lake Placid, Florida, passed away Sunday, January 24, 2010, in Lake Placid. She was born July 12, 1924, to Olen and Ethel (Ingram) Coker, in Arcadia, Florida, and had been a resident of Lake Placid since 2004, moving from Wauchula, FL. She was a Realtor, a member of First Baptist Church of Lake Placid and loved gardening and reading. She is survived by her Daughters, Phyllis Barley, Wauchula and Sue (and Jim) Belflower, Sebring; Sisters, Martha Ann VanMeter, Lake Suzy, FL and Irene Rogers, Arcadia, FL; Brothers, Junior Coker, Wauchula, FL and James Harry Coker, Olar, South Carolina; four Grandchildren and six Great-Grandchildren. Funeral services will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at First Baptist Church Chapel of Wauchula, with Rev. Ken Smith officiating. The family will receive friends the hour preceding the service, beginning at 1:00 p.m. Interment was at Lily Cemetery.
