Maria T. Oliveros

Maria Teresa Oliveros, age 70, of Sebring, FL, passed away on Tuesday, September 5, 2017.  She was born December 24, 1946 in Cucuta, Colombia to Cenon Rodriguez and Ana T. Garcia.  She enjoyed music and dancing.  Maria was a dedicated professor at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia and served as a Para-Professional at Cracker Trail Elementary in Sebring.  She was known for her kindness and her strong faith in God.  She was a loving and devoted mother who also loved her family and friends.  She is survived by her Daughter – Maria Liliana Mejia of Sebring, FL and Brother – Alfonso Rodriguez (Lenor) of Cucuta, Colombia.  Maria is preceded in death by her parents.  Funeral Mass will be held Friday, September 8, 2017 at 11:30 AM at St. Catherine Catholic Church, 882 Bay Street, Sebring, FL.  Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. www.stjude.org
