Maria Dolores Hernandez Otero

Maria Dolores Hernandez Otero passed away on Saturday, May 20, 2023 in Sebring, Florida at the age of 78. The daughter of Ramiro Hernandez and Nemecia Otero. She was born on April 10, 1945 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Maria was of Catholic faith and had been a resident of Sebring since Nov.12, 2017, having come from Coral Springs, Florida. Her hobbies included knitting, sewing and she loved to cook. She was a very good cook. She enjoyed the piano and classical guitar. Maria is survived by her loving husband of 47 years - Jose; daughter – Maria Isabel Hernandez of Sebring, Florida; son-in-law- Emmanuel Santiago-Rivera of Sebring, Florida. Also surviving are 2 grandchildren – Saimary Muniz-Hernandez; Nisamar Merced-Hernandez. Maria was preceded in death by her parents. A visitation will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 am on Thursday May 25, 2023, until service time at 11:00 am at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home in Sebring. Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Friday May 26, 2023 at Lakeview Memorial Gardens in Avon Park, Florida.
