Maria Cielo Gura, born on June 7, 1974, in Compostela Valley, Philippines, passed away peacefully on August 10, 2024, in Sebring, Florida, at the age of 50. Cielo was the beloved daughter of Morley and Evangeline Baguio.
In 2012, Cielo moved from the Philippines to Sebring, Florida, where she built a life surrounded by family and faith. She was a devoted member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Avon Park and actively participated in the Couples for Christ ministry, reflecting her deep spiritual commitment and sense of community.
Cielo was a loving wife to her husband, Allan Gura, and a dedicated mother to their two children, Stephen Alexander and Star, both of Sebring, FL. Her love and devotion to her family were evident in all aspects of her life, and she took great pride in nurturing her children and supporting her husband.
Professionally, Cielo was an accomplished accountant in the medical field, known for her precision and dedication. Beyond her work, she was a talented graphic designer and an expert in creating impactful PowerPoint presentations. Her skills and creativity were appreciated by all who knew her.
Cielo's generous spirit extended beyond her immediate family. She volunteered her time to coordinate the sponsorship of children in need across the world, a testament to her selfless nature and commitment to helping others. Her love for gardening and baking brought joy to her friends and family, as she often shared the fruits of her labor with those around her.
Cielo is survived by her loving husband, Allan; her children, Stephen Alexander and Star; her parents, Morley and Evangeline Baguio; her siblings, Elexer and Johannes Baguio; and dear family friends, relatives and members of the CFC community.
Cielo will be remembered for her loving heart, her boundless generosity, and her unwavering faith. She leaves behind a lasting impact on her community, her family, and her friends, who will forever hold her in their hearts. May she rest in eternal peace.
