Maria Christina Cardona

Maria Christina Cardona, age 83, passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 in Sebring, Florida. She was born on August 1, 1931 in Puerto Rico to the late Eugenio Rosado and Isabel Lopez. Maria had been a resident of Sebring since 1982 coming from Brooklyn New York. She was a member of Iglesias De Dios Pentecostal Church M.I. in Avon Park. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, knitting, gardening and was a caregiver to many. She was the oldest of twenty siblings. Maria is survived by her children: Carlos M. Cardona; Isabel C. Lopez; Maria E. Perez; Ana Lydia Sanchez; Pedro Cardona, Jr.; Hector Cardona; Noel Cardona; Noemi Caraballo; Edward Cardona, twenty grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren and 1 great-great- grandchild. She was preceded in death by one son: Victor Manuel Cardona. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 18, 2014, 2:00pm - 8:00pm, at Iglesias De Dios Pentecostal Church M.I., 919 W. Center Street, Avon Park, FL. Graveside service will be Saturday, July 19, 2014, 2:15pm, Lakeview Memorial Gardens, Avon Park, FL.
