Margory Ingrid Scheel

MARGORY INGRID SCHEEL Margory Ingrid Scheel, age 83, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Sunday, July 8, 2012 at her home. She was born June 30, 1929, to Jacob and Anna (Skog) Ness in Kingsford, Michigan, and had been a resident of Sebring since 1986, coming from Wheaton, Illinois. She had been a Missionary with SIM since 1951 and served as a Medical Nurse with her husband in Ethiopia for 26 years. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Sebring and Moody Memorial Church in Chicago, IL. She is survived by her children, Daniel and Kimberly Scheel of Ethiopia; Miriam and Brian Funk, Illinois, Rebecca and David Field, Australia; Stephen Scheel, North Dakota and Philip Scheel, California; 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Dr. Richard Scheel. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 12, 2012, in the SIM Fellowship Hall. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 13, 2012, at the SIM Chapel, Sebring, with Rev. David Altman officiating and preceded by a viewing at 10:30 a.m. Interment at Lakeview Memorial Gardens, Avon Park, will be immediately following the service.
