Margaret M. Warner

Margaret M. Warner, 92, of Lake Placid, Florida passed away Saturday, August 6, 2016. She was born in Charleston, West Virginia to the late Herbert Roth and Ruby Ada (Barker) Hereford, and had been a resident of Highlands County since 1996.  Margaret attended Faith Lutheran Church, enjoyed painting, sewing, dancing, and macramé.  She was a certified turtle watcher and enjoyed working at the church’s thrift store. Margaret is predeceased by her daughter, Patricia Lee Warner and brother Don P. Hereford, and leaves behind her children John Mitchell (Dini), of North Carolina; Michael Warner (Margaret), of Sebring, FL; Mary Roth Warner (James Ovanek), of Chapmansboro, TN; sister Vivian Roth Jones, of KY; six Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren.  There will be a memorial service at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 27, 2016, at Stephenson-Nelson Chapel, Sebring, FL. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Margaret M. Warner Memorial Fund, c/o Mid-Florida Credit Union, P.O. Box 8008, Lakeland, FL 33802-8008, reference Account #10006092569
