Margaret Trout Covey, age 91, passed away on Friday, June 17, 2016 in Lake Placid, Florida. She was born on July 31, 1924 in Roanoke, Virginia. Survivors include her son, Wayne Powers-Richmond, VA and step-daughters, Anita C. Schneider-Disputanta, VA; Harriet C. Saunders-Richmond, VA, eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Slover R. Covey and son, Phillip Powers. She will be buried next to her husband in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date..
