Margaret C. (Doughty) Brown, 82 of Ft. Meade, FL passed away on September 15 ^th , 2018. Known as Margie to family and friends, Margie resided in Ft. Meade FL., coming from National Park N.J. and spent her life teaching. Margaret is survived by her Daughter-Bonny Owens (Ft, Meade Fl.) -sisters-Martha Jess (Ontario Canada)- Myrna Lloyd (Mullica Hill, NJ.) and grandson Christopher Owens. Margaret was of Baptist faith and attended Athens Baptist Church. She was predeceased by her parents-Albert L. Doughty and Catherine E. (Sturgis) Doughty, her loving husband of 56 years, J.R. Brown and brother Albert (Bud)Doughty. Margaret will be laid to rest next to her husband in Elington Cemetery, Clarksboro NJ. Margie’s family is requesting memorial contributions be made to Cornerstone Hospice, Tavares,Fl.
