Madeline White

Madeline Corliss White, age 87 of Avon Park, FL, went to be with our Lord and Savior March 29, 2020. She was born in Rochester, PA. where she grew up and graduated from Rochester High. She married Arthur Conner from Curwensville, PA and they had 2 sons Michael and Mark. A few years later the family moved to Miami, FL. She was in the retail business working for Grand Way, Zayres, and Marshalls. She was the first south east regional women manager of Grand Way. In her later years she remarried to Steven White of Miami FL. They spent a few years traveling around the US and many countries. When her late husband passed, she moved to Avon Park to be closer to her son Mark and his family. She was involved in the VFW and American Legion doing various charity work. Family was important to her as she felt great joy spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Madeline is survived by Sons- Michael Conner (Michelle); Mark Conner (Donna); Daughter in-law- Patricia Conner, 3 grandchildren Michelle, Melissa Mayne (Reiser), Cassidy Conner, 3 great-grandchildren: Reiser, Harlan, Temijun, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her Husband-Steven White, Father-George Howe, Mother-Dorothy Howe, and 6 Siblings- John, Ron, Jeff, Dixie, Ed and Shirley.
