Lynne Ann Siok

Lynne  Szado Siok passed away on July 8, 2024, at Family Extended Living in Sebring, Florida, surrounded by her family. Lynne was born on January 3, 1946, in Detroit, Michigan. She graduated from Monson High School in Monson, Massachusetts, in 1964 and married Ronald Siok on July 19, 1969. Together, they lived in Norwich, NY, and most recently Sebring, FL.

Lynne worked at Norwich City Schools for 25 years, retiring in 2010. She took great pride in her job and was loved by the students and staff. To know Lynne was to know the epitome of kindness and love. She was liked and loved by all who encountered her.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Ronald Siok (Sebring, FL); daughter, Jill Siok (Decatur, GA); daughter, Kara (Rob) Alaimo (Northfield, MN); grandchildren, Megan and James Alaimo (Northfield, MN); sister, Sandy (Jim) Hobbs (Monson, MA); sister in law, Michele Szado (Monson, MA); and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Lynne is also survived by many friends in Sebring who have loved and supported Ron and Lynne throughout her illness.

She was predeceased by her father, John Szado; mother, Margaret (Miecnikoski) Szado; and brother, Edward Szado.

The family will hold a private service at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your local animal hospital, hospice, or a dementia organization.
