Lyle Charles Hildebrand

Lyle Charles Hildebrand, age 86, passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 in Sebring, Florida. He was born on December 22, 1935 in Charles City, Iowa, the son of Elbert L. and Faye E. (Harris) Hildebrand. Lyle worked as an electronics technician, proudly served his country in the United States Navy, and has been a resident of Sebring since 2011, having come from Lafayette, Indiana. He was a member of the American Legion, enjoyed playing with his dog and spending time on the computer. Lyle is survived by his loving wife Alice; sons – Lynn Hildebrand (Beverly); Scott Hildebrand (Mary); Kevin Hildebrand (Mandy); Troy Hildebrand (Melissa); daughter – Lisa Safran (Tom); brothers – Merlin Hildebrand; Leslie Hildebrand (Paula); Gary Clinton; sisters – Elizabeth Hildebrand, Sharon Clinton. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Lyle was preceded in death by his parents and a brother - John Clinton. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until service time at 11:00am on Thursday, December 15, 2022 at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home with Kevin Ahrens officiating. The service will be streamed live on Facebook. Interment will be held at Lakeview Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made in his honor to the Highlands County Humane Society 7421 Haywood Taylor Blvd, Sebring, FL 33876.
