Luz Mercedes Sanchez

Luz Mercedes Sanchez, age 70, passed away on Monday, April 19, 2021 in Sebring, FL. She was born on March 31, 1951 in the Bronx, New York to the late Raul Reyes and Matilde (Roman) Reyes. She had been a Florida resident since 1995. Luz was of Catholic faith. She worked as a banker. She enjoyed cooking and going to the beach. She loved her family very much and was the matriarch of the family. She is survived by her loving husband – Albert; daughter Sybil Ramos (Bennette); brothers – Raul Reyes (Olga); Walter Reyes; sisters -Alma Bruce; Patricia Reyes; Alexis Gillispie; Regina Reyes. Surviving is also 1 grandchild - Olivia Ramos. She was preceded in death by her parents. A Celebration of Life will be held in her honor at 10:00am on April 22, 2021 at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home in Sebring, FL.
