Lucinda Jane Volpe

Lucinda Jane Volpe, age 83, passed away on Monday, April 8, 2024 in Sebring, Florida.  She was born on February 25, 1941 in Pittston, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Paul and Helen (Zeilbeer) Gross.  She has been a resident of Sebring since 1945, coming from Dallas, Pennsylvania.  She is survived by her companion, Joseph T Chambers; her children, Gayle M Schroder (Rod) of Myrtle Beach, SC; Bonnie Jones of Avon Park, FL; John J Sulitka of Avon Park, FL; Robert P Sulitka of Sebring, FL; her grandchildren, Ricky Parker (Chelsea); Robert Schroder (Madison); Courtney Jones; Lacey Sulitka; Kayla Shannon and five great grandchildren.

Lucinda was a devoted and hardworking woman who touched the lives of all who knew her. She was a faithful member of the Grace Bible Church of Sebring and found joy in playing the piano and singing. Her love for music, especially the songs of pop supergroup ABBA, was evident in the way she would harmonize with her children and grandchildren.

In addition to her musical talents, Lucinda enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. She loved camping, fishing, and basking in the sunshine. Her adventurous spirit and fun-loving nature made her a joy to be around, and her love and dedication to her family was unwavering.

She will be missed by all who knew her and loved her.
