Louise Elma Mikell

Louise E. Mikell, born on May 27, 1926, in Milford, Delaware, passed away peacefully on September 15, 2024, in Sebring, Florida, at the age of 98. She was the daughter of the late Dennis and Mary Paquette. In 1971, Louise moved from her home state of Delaware to Florida.

Louise was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, parents, and eleven siblings. She is survived by her two sons, Dennis Mikell (Joan) of Dover, DE, and Patrick Mikell of Gardner, FL; as well as her four grandchildren: Heather Mikell (William), Brandon Mikell, David Mikell (Michele), and Lori Jordan; and greatgrandchildren.

Louise enjoyed sewing, tending to her house plants, and caring for her home. Above all, she was proudest of her family, finding her greatest joy in their accomplishments and happiness.

Her grandchildren affectionately described her as "the World’s Best Grandma". Louise will be remembered for her loving and kind nature, her dedication to her family, and the happiness she brought to those around her. She will be missed beyond measure and loved and cherished forever.

In honor of her generous and caring spirit, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Louise's name to Good Shepherd Hospice.
