Louis Joseph Melocchi

Louis J. Melocchi, 74, of Sebring, Florida, formerly of Monroeville and North Braddock, PA,passed away peacefully on June 16, 2024. Born on August 25, 1949 in Sant’Angelo Del Pesco,Italy, Lou was the beloved son of the late Rocco and Filomena Melocchi.

Lou is survived by his devoted wife, Leiva, his loving children, Michael Melocchi of Fairfax,VA; Lou (Jaime) Melocchi of Pittsburgh, PA; and his cherished grandchildren, Max and Nina.He is also survived by his sisters, Connie (the late Giuseppe) D’Abruzzo and Carmela (Mike) Jacobs and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Lou enjoyed a long and fulfilling career with Rimoldi of America, where he was recognized for his expertise in international sales. His colleagues remember him as a reliable and knowledgeable professional who had a big heart.

Lou attended Saint Catherine Catholic Church in Sebring, where he found solace and community. In his free time, he enjoyed music, spending time with his beloved dogs, traveling, and gardening. He was a passionate Pittsburgh sports fan, enjoying every Steelers and Penguin game.

A funeral service to honor and celebrate Lou's life will be held at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home on Sebring Parkway, Sebring, FL, on June 22, 2024, at 6:00 PM with Father Jose Gonzales officiating. Family to receive friends for the visitation at 4:00 PM - 6:00PM.

Lou will be profoundly missed but forever remembered for his generosity, his joyous spirit, and the love he shared with everyone he encountered. May he rest in peace.
