Lloyd Taylor

Lloyd Taylor passed away peacefully on August 22, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Lloyd was born in Jamaica on April 4, 1934, to the late Benjamin Taylor and Mariam (Bernard) Taylor.Lloyd was a kind and devoted man who cherished the time he spent with his family and friends. He was an avid fisherman and found great joy in being outdoors and enjoying the peacefulness of fishing. Lloyd also had a deep love for gospel music and was a faithful member of his church. His faith was an important part of his life, and he took comfort in the fellowship and love of his church family.Lloyd will be remembered for the love he shared with those around him and for the many memories he created throughout his life. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.He is survived by his loving wife, Josephine Taylor; two stepsons, Roger Blackwood and Marlon Blackwood, both of Avon Park; nephew, Goslyn Holness; and nieces, Hope Rose and Jacqueline Asburn, Isreal Miller and friend Roghoo along with a host of family and friends to mourn his passing.Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., with a service to follow at 11:00 a.m. at Crossroads Community Church in Avon Park. Burial will take place at Bougainvillea Cemetery.May Lloyd's memory live on in the hearts of all who loved him.
