Liz Still

Liz Still, of Sebring, entered into the gates of heaven to be at peace with the Lord on August 27, 2013, while surrounded by family at Good Shepherd Hospice. Liz was born in Miami, Florida to Robert Kent and Lois Jean Gibson and has been a resident of Sebring, Florida since 1974. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Constance Lee Gibson, and her loving husband of 36 years, Franklin Wayne Still. Liz is survived by her devoted daughters, Caitlin Jean Still and Candra Lee Polk (Andy), brother Bruce Kent Gibson (Patti), and sister Laura Jean Forman (John). Liz retired from the State of Florida after 13 years with the City of Sebring Police Department and 24 years with the School Board of Highlands County. She deeply appreciated her co-workers and numerous friends who added so much enjoyment to her life. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a contribution in Liz's honor to St. Agnes Episcopal Church or to the Highlands County Humane Society. A celebration of life will be held on August 31, 2013 at St. Agnes Episcopal Church at 11:00 AM with Father Jim Kurtz officiating.
