Lita O. Davis

LITA O. DAVIS Lita O. Davis, 83, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Thursday, March 31, 2011, in Sebring. She was born October 26, 1927 to Robert Lee and Bertha (Fortney) Cade in Wolf Summit, West Virginia, and had been a resident of Sebring since 1998, coming from West Siloam Springs, Oklahoma. She was a Secretary with the Pepsi Bottling Company and also had worked in real estate. She was a member of Eastern Star Chapter #89 in Fresno, CA and was active in 4-H leadership in Fresno and Benton County, Arkansas. She was a member of Sparta Road Baptist Church in Sebring. Mrs. Davis was predeceased by her husband, Carl Davis and son, Lee Davis and is survived by her daughter-in-law, Shelly Davis Word and two grandchildren, Kaylee (Joshua) Crossley, Lexington Park, Maryland and Clinton Lee Davis, Sebring. The family will receive friends at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, April 4, 2011, at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home in Sebring, with services following at 1:00 p.m., Rev. Mike Adams officiating.
