Lisa Chandler Powell, age 43, passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2013 in Sebring, Florida. She was born in Lake Wales, Florida on January 27, 1970 to Dennis and Linda (McCranie) Chandler. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant; enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, swamp buggy riding and getting a sun-tan. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family. She never met a stranger and was "Mom" to all the kids. She is survived by her children, Christopher (Chantal), Ocala; Dustin Chandler, Tallahassee; Matthew McGee, Sebring; Preston Powell, Sebring; Charity Powell, Palm City; her Mother and Dad, Linda and James Prescott, CO; brothers, Dennis (Karrie) Chandler, Jr., Okeechobee; John Shenefield (Samantha), Stuart; James Prescott, Jr. (Brandy), Lake City; Sisters, April Symington (Jr), Sebring; Shannon Prescott, Okeechobee; granddaughter, Lily; grandmother, Betty Farrar, Okeechobee; nieces and nephews, Marshall, Cody, Mattie, Dalton, Isabelle, Abigail, Alivia, Austin, Dylan, and Sierra; several aunts and uncles; she was predeceased by her husband, Michael Powell and her father, Dennis chandler. Memorial services will be held on Monday, December 16, 2013 at 12:00 noon at Sebring Christian Church, 4514 Hammock Road, Sebring, Florida 33872.
