Linda Dorothy Zuverino

Linda Dorothy Zuverino passed away peacefully on Sunday July 21, 2019 at her home in Sebring, Florida surrounded by loving family.  She was born on May 7, 1961, in Baltimore, MD the daughter of Frank V. Fowler and Patricia A. (Beaudry) Fowler. Linda with her family later moved to Brattleboro, Vermont.  Linda loved photography. She especially enjoyed taking many photos of her family and friends at special gatherings. Linda loved traveling with Dickie and they eventually moved to Florida in 2013.  Linda was a huge and faithful fan of NASCAR. She never missed a race on T.V. and attended several NASCAR races at various tracks in the U.S. to watch her favorite guy Kevin Harvick. Linda attended races at the Monadnock Speedway in Winchester, NH where she spent all of her weekends during the summer for many years selling 50/50 raffle tickets while cheering on Dickie and other family racers as well as spending time with her extended racing family who were a very large part of her life. During the cold winter months in Vernon Vermont you would find Linda on the ice at the setback taking photos of Dickie racing. You couldn't keep her away no matter how cold.  Linda enjoyed crocheting, coloring and using art supplies in her spare time and she also loved to watch the Baltimore Orioles. She was an avid collector of Unicorns and later in life filled her home with Owls.  She loved everyone she came in contact with unconditionally and made all people "her" family.  She is survived by her loving Husband Richard Houle of whom she spent 28 years and their cat "Piper".  Her 3 - sons Chancy Benjamin Smith III of St. Johnsbury, Vermont, Frank Smith and wife Ashley of Sarasota Florida, Frederick Zuverino III and wife Kristy of Charlestown, New Hampshire. Her sisters Laverne Ells and husband Corey of Waxahachie, Texas, Lillian Fowler of East, Dummerston, Vermont and Lisa Caslin of Brattleboro, Vermont. 4 grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.  She is predeceased by both parents, A sister Laurie Fowler, several aunts, uncles, and cousins.  A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2019 from 1:00-5:00pm at the Order of the Eagles in Brattleboro, VT.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Cornerstone Hospice Care @ www.cshospice.org/foundation/giving/
