Linda Ann Unger

Linda Ann Unger, age 66, passed away on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, in Sebring, Florida. She was born on September 20, 1959, in Wauchula, Florida, the daughter of the late Mabry Murphy and Linda Wilkins Murphy. Linda worked for many years as a cafeteria manager with the Highlands County School System, where she was known for her dedication and care for the students she served. In her free time, she enjoyed fishing, boating, and camping, especially when shared with family. She is survived by her loving husband of 26 years, Brent Unger; her two children, Jessica Dianne Ferrell (Jessie Ferrell) and Doyle Arnold, both of Okeechobee, Florida; her siblings, Milton Murphy (Shawn), Debbie Lawrence (Tim), Carolyn Rogers, Joy Whidden (Greg), and Gene Murphy; and her four cherished grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Murphy. A private family visitation will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, February 6, 2026, with a Private service to follow at 1:00 p.m. at Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home. Interment will take place at Lakeview Memorial Gardens. Donations made be made to the Huntington Disease Society of America in honor of Linda at Hdsa.org
